Where should you start?

Recap - the definition of health is when all parts of you are operating at 100%.

Unfortunately, none of us is 100% healthy.

100% healthy is pretty much unattainable, in my opinion, - there are too many factors outside of our control
air pollution
pesticides used to grow our food
stress…

But we can have a positive effect on our health - especially if we have a plan on how to do it.

Trying to create a whole plan for all of your health is pretty big thing to do and can seem overwhelming.

So, I suggest focusing on one part at a time.
One area of your life.
One step

A whole life health plan encompasses your whole life. The thing is, you have your whole life to do it. One little step at a time and you will eventually cover it all.

Your body.
Your mind.
Your Soul.

Your health is impacted by everything in your life - what food you eat, how much you move your body, the air your breathe, the thoughts running through your head.

While that seems like a lot, and it actually is, the positive thing to focus on is that since a lot of things affect your health - that means you have a ton of opportunities to do good things for yourself.

Step #1 Decide where your focus will be - what you want to start with.

I suggest starting at the easiest place for yourself or the place you feel will have the most impact.

Do you enjoy food?

Then focus on your eating habits and how you can give your body more of the good things it needs to function optimally.

Do you enjoy nature?

Focus on being outside and really appreciating your surroundings, breathing in fresh air, channeling your thoughts towards gratitude.

Do you enjoy exercise?

Then focus on getting a little more exercise in each day.

What level of health are you trying to achieve? Do you want to be able to run a marathon or just walk up a couple of flights of stairs without breathing hard?

How much time and effort and money can you direct towards making these changes in your life?

Start with what resonates the most with you - whatever works the best for YOU!

I am going to start with positive thinking.
I love words.
I love looking on the bright side of things.

Positive thinking - from what I’ve been reading and hearing the last few months, it’s much more powerful and important than I ever really knew. And that’s the topic of the next article. Read on…
