Prevent or Plan?

Prevention is a great concept - keep bad things from happening. Who doesn’t love that idea?

The thing is, it’s not so simple.

What, exactly, health-wise, are we preventing?
Specific diseases?
All diseases?
Just a few diseases?

Prevention is not an exact science, for sure. And we can’t prevent everything. There’s no foolproof way to even know what we should focus on.

Sometimes, the whole idea of prevention seems too big and complicated to even figure out.

But, what if you look at it from a different perspective? Instead of preventing bad things, what if you planned for good things?

Plan for health :

  • for a body that is strong and flexible

  • for a mind that is calm and relaxed

  • for a soul at peace

What kind of life do you want?

Plan for it. It can be simple, inexpensive, and even enjoyable.

  1. Movement - take a walk - prevent stiffness

  2. Hydration - there are some really yummy, healthy beverages

  3. Stress - get a massage - spend time with friends - reduce your stress

  4. Environment - buy some houseplants, put a water filter on your faucet - set up your environment

  5. Nutrition - cook more from scratch - watch a YouTube video to learn new recipes

Make some changes so you can have a better, healthier life.
Start with the easiest thing.
You can do it!!
